Bed and Breakfast in Pieterburen, Groningen
Waddenhoes Guest Residences is situated in a former bread factory. At one time the bakery supplied the community with organic bread, as described in Tessa de Loo’s book ‘Meander’. Since 2009 the building has been fully converted and now accommodates several spacious and comfortable vacation apartments and B&B rooms, as well as a reception / breakfast room and a meeting room.
The two elegant luxury comfort B&B rooms are called Lamsoor (Statice) and Zeekraal (Samphire), named after edible plants that grow locally on the marshes. The B&B rooms are ideal if you want to stay in Pieterburen for a few days, for instance because you want to walk the Pieterpad, or you want to go mudflat hiking. You can park your car for free on our grounds and you have access to free Wi-Fi internet.Read More Book now
We also have budget B&B rooms. You will than stay over in one of our rooms in the new built Village B&B, which was opened in October 2014. In a former church across the street there is a Village home downstairs. Upstairs you find 9 newly built Budget B&B rooms. There is a communal kitchen where you can make coffee or tea.
Free Wi-Fi Internet.
All guest rooms are located in a quiet place
Yet still it is only a two-minute walk to the centre of town where you will find the Sealcentre, the starting point of the Pieterpad, the mudflat hiking organizations, the restaurants and the village cafe.
