We are Frank & Liesbeth Houtstra and we wish you a warm welcome in this beautiful a bit less known part of the Netherlands. Yes, the seal sanctuary has put the name Pieterburen on the map in The Netherlands, but there is so much more. For Frank, who grew up in Groningen, the space and tranquility of this area has always remained in my heart. I know the national character and I feel at home there. My mother was born there, my grandfather and grandmother lived at no.17. What could be better than to be able to work in this area in a field that is so close to my current field of Cycling Holidays? Here comes “our” type of guest. The cyclist, the walker, group of friends mudflat hiking, the peace seeker. And this is an opportunity to introduce our guests to this not yet known area, but Groningen deserves it.
